Baked beans on toast

Although the Baked Bean theme has disappeared, due to popular demand the following detail is a recipe for baked beans on toast.

Ingredients (serves 2 for a snack):

  1. One can of baked beans.
  2. 4 slices of thick bread, preferably wholemeal.
  3. Small amount of margarine or butter.

Method:

  1. Warm the baked beans up in a saucepan, but make sure that they are not overheated as this can destroy the texture.
  2. Toast the bread to your liking. I like my bread only lightly toasted.
  3. Spread the margarine or butter on the bread while it is hot and then poor the baked beans over the top.
  4. Serve with drink a big glass of cold milk to top it off.

Note: I am not a baked bean fascist, so I won’t tell which brand to use. The best thing is to try a few different types and choose one you like.

Note 2: I apologise if you were expecting more. Perhaps you need to search again to find a recipe more to your liking. There are plenty more pretentious recipes on the Internet.
